I am a photography enthusiast who believes that photography is a lifestyle and a personal creative expression. My name is Andreea Moldovan and I am based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. My love for photography started back in the 80's, when I was playing around with my dad's old film camera, a russian model - Smena. As a teenager I had a belief that still stands with me: I think is important to take pictures all the time. In the past I had 3 compact cameras - one on film Carena Mini AF and two digital: Sony and Cannon.

Now I have as a partner, two mirrorless cameras: Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II and Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III. They are an extension of my mind, my eyes and my hands.

My real love is street photography. I also do travel, portrait, landscape, event and product photography. I began my street journey using only my phone.

I strongly believe that Street Photography is a very handy instrument for self development. I use my photo walks to face various fears and overcome them, to become present, to observe. Street photography means people, moments, steps, presence, search, observation, a lively and enquiring mind, a lively curiosity and also interesting questions... It's a form of meditation.

By the way... my favorite lens is my eye, and I consider that every step is a photo opportunity.
